General
What is Schemafy?
Schemafy is a WordPress plugin focused on structured data, SEO meta tags, and social preview optimization. It helps you publish valid Schema.org markup and improve your chances of earning rich results in Google without hand-coding JSON-LD.
Who is Schemafy for?
It is built for site owners, bloggers, SEO teams, agencies, ecommerce stores, local businesses, and developers. You do not need advanced technical knowledge to use the visual builder and publish a working schema.
Is Schemafy a free plugin?
Yes. Schemafy includes a free version for the essential workflow. Pro plans unlock features such as AI-assisted generation, advanced SEO Health Analyzer checks, multisite support, priority updates, and premium support.
Installation and Compatibility
How do I install Schemafy on WordPress?
In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, search for Schemafy, and click Install. After activation, the Schemafy menu appears in the dashboard. You can also upload the ZIP file manually from Plugins, Upload Plugin.
What WordPress and PHP versions are required?
Schemafy requires WordPress 5.8 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. Using the latest stable WordPress release is still the safest option for compatibility and security.
Is it compatible with themes and page builders?
Yes. Schemafy injects JSON-LD independently of the theme or builder you use. It is designed to work with Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WooCommerce, and most standard WordPress stacks.
Does Schemafy slow down my site?
The impact should be minimal because the schema output is lightweight JSON-LD embedded directly in the page HTML. It does not load external scripts to render markup on the frontend.
Does Schemafy support WordPress Multisite?
Yes, Multisite support is available on Pro plans. You can activate the plugin network-wide and manage schema settings per site or from a more centralized workflow.
Features
Which schema types does Schemafy support?
Schemafy supports 17 high-value schema types for Google-rich-result use cases, including Article, Product, LocalBusiness, Recipe, Event, FAQPage, HowTo, JobPosting, Course, SoftwareApplication, VideoObject, Organization, Person, BreadcrumbList, WebSite, Review, and BookReview.
How does the Smart Builder work?
The Smart Builder is a guided form workflow. You pick a schema type, fill in required and recommended fields, and Schemafy generates the valid JSON-LD for you. Progress cues help you see when a schema is ready to publish.
What does the AI Generator do?
The AI Generator analyzes the content of a page or post and suggests the most relevant schema type, then pre-fills the schema fields with extracted content. You still review the result before publishing.
What does the SEO Health Analyzer include?
It audits the active schemas on your site, flags missing fields and validation issues, and highlights opportunities to improve visibility in search. The goal is to help you fix the highest-impact issues first.
Can I use the JSON editor without installing the plugin?
Yes. The free Visual Builder and JSON Editor on this website work directly in the browser. You can generate markup, copy it, and place it in your site manually if you do not want the plugin workflow.
Does Schemafy also manage meta tags and social cards?
Yes. Beyond JSON-LD, Schemafy can manage SEO meta data, canonical tags, Open Graph tags, and Twitter Card fields so you do not need separate tools for the same workflow.
Plans and Licensing
Can I use Schemafy Pro on multiple websites?
That depends on the plan you buy. Schemafy is prepared for single-site, multi-site, and agency-style licensing, so you should choose the plan that matches the number of installations you need.
Are updates included?
Yes. Pro licenses include updates during the active billing period. Updates are delivered from the WordPress admin area like a normal plugin update once the license is connected.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. The current policy described on the site is a 14-day money-back window. If the plugin is not a fit, support can review the case and process the refund within that period.
What happens if I deactivate the plugin?
If you deactivate Schemafy, the schema output stops being injected on the frontend. Your configuration can remain in the WordPress database until you decide to remove the plugin completely.
Support
How can I get support?
Free users can use the official WordPress.org support forum. Pro users get priority support, typically through email or the support channels connected to their license.
Will the generated schema pass Google validation?
That is the goal. Schemafy is built around Google Rich Results requirements, and the plugin warns when required fields are missing so you can fix issues before publishing.
Is there documentation available?
Yes. The documentation covers installation, schema types, the builder workflow, JSON editing, and product-specific setup guidance for the main plugin features.
Still need help?
Check the docs or contact support if your question is about setup, validation, licensing, or billing.
