The Smart Builder
The Smart Builder is the fastest and easiest way to create schemas. It provides a visual form-based interface — no JSON knowledge required. Available on the Free Plan (3 types) and all higher plans (17 full types).
How It Works
- Choose a Schema Type — Select from 17 schema types displayed as visual cards
- Fill in the Fields — Complete the form. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*)
- Use Templates — Load a pre-configured template to get started quickly
- Preview JSON — See the JSON-LD output live as you fill in the fields
- Select a URL — Choose which page this schema will be assigned to
- Save — Click Save to add the schema to your site

Live JSON Preview
As you fill in the fields, the JSON-LD output updates in real time. You can:
- Copy JSON — Copy the generated JSON to clipboard
- Switch to JSON view — Edit the raw JSON directly
- Validate — Verify your schema is valid before saving
Edit Mode
To edit an existing schema, open it from the Rich Snippets Manager. The Smart Builder will load the previous data, with a preview before saving and support for post-specific context.
Plan-Locked Types
Schema types that require a higher plan show a lock icon with:
- The name of the required plan
- A CTA to upgrade
- Ability to view the form in preview mode without being able to save
